Climb up to Diamond Hill on this Connemara trekking route, getting you out into nature and filling your lungs with fresh air!
Connemara National Park Trekking
The tour meets at the Connemara National Park Visitor Centre at a time of your choice, starting the hike along one of the four trails leading to Diamond Hill, the most famous peak in Connemara.
The route, approximately 7 kilometres long, traverses the landscapes of this Irish park, featuring typical wildlife, including deer. Your guide will provide insights into the secrets of Connemara, local history, and the lifestyle surrounded by nature.
At 500 metres above sea level, Diamond Hill offers views of the entire park. After taking photographs and enjoying the fresh air from one of the highest points in Ireland, the group will descend back to the starting point.
The tour concludes after three hours of trekking through Connemara National Park.
