Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of County Galway and discover wildlife on this private safari in Connemara National Park.

Activity Details

After meeting at 5:30 am at Letterfrack Country Shop, we'll climb into a 4x4 vehicle and proceed to Connemara National Park, the site of our wildlife-watching safari.

This expansive park in County Galway features forests, meadows, and mountains, as well as many animal species native to Ireland. Our private safari will involve exploring Connemara in search of wildlife, particularly the red deer.

We aim to observe the unique rituals of these mammals during the mating season, including their distinctive sounds and antler clashes. In addition to red deer, we will also look for sheep and various birds within the national park.

Following the safari in Connemara National Park, we'll enjoy a tea or coffee with cookies before concluding the tour.

The tour ends back at the original meeting point at 9 am.
