Activity Overview
Your adventure begins bright and early at 5:30 am at the Letterfrack Country Shop, where we will board a 4x4 vehicle to commence our journey to Connemara National Park, the site of our wildlife observation expedition.
This expansive park, located in County Galway, boasts verdant forests, sweeping meadows, and towering mountains, as well as a rich variety of animal species indigenous to Ireland. Our private safari will invite us to navigate through Connemara in search of its wildlife, with a special emphasis on the captivating red deer.
We may witness some of these animals' fascinating behaviors during the mating season; listeners will be rewarded with their distinctive calls and watchers may observe the dramatic antler clashes—truly a memorable sight! Besides the red deer of Connemara, we will also remain vigilant for the park's sheep and diverse bird species.
Following our safari through the breathtaking landscapes of Connemara National Park, we will recharge with a delightful tea or coffee paired with cookies—an ideal conclusion to our tour!
Our journey will conclude back at the original meeting location by 9 am.
