Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of County Galway and discover wild deer and more incredible wildlife on this private safari in Connemara National Park.
Activity Details
After meeting at 5:30 am at Letterfrack Country Shop, we will climb into a 4x4 vehicle and set off to Connemara National Park for our wildlife-watching safari.
This large park in County Galway features lush forests, rolling meadows, and impressive mountains, home to many animal species native to Ireland. Our private safari tour will allow us to explore Connemara in search of wildlife, particularly red deer.
We aim to observe unique rituals during the mating season, listening for their distinctive calls and watching them clash antlers. In addition to red deer, we'll look out for sheep and various bird species inhabiting the national park.
After the safari, we will enjoy tea or coffee with cookies, concluding the tour. The tour ends back at the original meeting point at 9 am.
