Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of County Galway and discover wildlife on this private safari in Connemara National Park.

Activity Details

After meeting at 5:30 am at Letterfrack Country Shop, we'll climb into a 4x4 vehicle and set off to Connemara National Park for our wildlife-watching safari.

This extensive park in County Galway features lush forests, rolling meadows, and impressive mountains, hosting a variety of animal species native to Ireland. Our private safari tour will focus on exploring Connemara in search of its wildlife, notably the red deer.

During the mating season, we aim to observe the red deer's rituals: listening for their distinctive sounds and watching their antler clashes. In addition to red deer, we will look for sheep and various bird species inhabiting the national park.

After our safari in Connemara National Park, we will enjoy tea or coffee with cookies, concluding the tour. The tour will end back at the original meeting point at 9 am.
