Experience the untamed charm of County Galway while discovering diverse wildlife, including majestic deer, on a private safari within Connemara National Park.
Activity Overview
Your adventure begins at 5:30 am at the Letterfrack Country Shop, where you will board a 4x4 vehicle to embark on a journey into Connemara National Park, our designated safari destination.
This expansive park in County Galway boasts vibrant woodlands, picturesque meadows, and striking mountains, serving as a habitat for a wide array of native Irish wildlife. On this private safari, we aim to explore Connemara's rich biodiversity, with a focus on observing the famed red deer.
During our excursion, we may witness the fascinating behaviors of these animals during the mating season. We will listen for their distinctive calls and observe the spectacular display of antler clashing—an experience that will leave a lasting impression. Along with spotting the red deer of Connemara, we will also keep watch for local sheep and the many bird species that populate the national park.
Concluding our safari in the stunning Connemara National Park, we will take a moment to recharge with a warm tea or coffee and cookies, a delightful way to end our tour!
The adventure wraps up at 9:00 am, returning to our initial meeting location.
