Tour Details
We'll meet at the entrance to Kinlay Hostel in Galway and board a bus for our adventure on the Wild Atlantic Way. You'll experience the incredible beauty of Ireland's landscapes.
Travelling west along Galway Bay, we'll pass through the towns of Barna, Furbo, Spiddal and Inverin, known for their thatched cottages and dry stone walls in a scenic environment.
Next, we'll visit Bothar na Scragoige, a bog area, and make a brief stop in the coastal town of Roundstone and nearby Dog's Bay Beach.
We will then visit Derrygimlagh Bog, historically significant in communications and aviation.
Continuing along the Wild Atlantic Way, we'll pass through Clifden, and head to Sky Road for ocean views.
The next 3 hours will allow you to choose between a tour of Connemara National Park or a visit to the exterior of Kylemore Abbey.
After regrouping, we'll cross through the Twelve Bens and Maumturk mountains and Inagh Valley, visiting the Connemara Giant and the Quite Man Bridge as our last stop.
We'll conclude this 9-hour tour back at the departure point in Galway.
