Charming villages, historic landmarks and spectacular natural landscapes: discover the breathtaking beauty of Ireland's west coast on this tour of Connemara and the Wild Atlantic Way from Galway.

Connemara & Wild Atlantic Way Tour

On the morning of the tour, we'll meet at the entrance to Kinlay Hostel in Galway and board a bus for our adventure along the Wild Atlantic Way. Traveling west along Galway Bay, we'll pass through towns such as Barna, Furbo, Spiddal, and Inverin, showcasing the beauty of the Connemara region.

We will visit Bothar na Scragoige and make a brief stop in the coastal town of Roundstone and at Dog's Bay Beach. Our next stop is Derrygimlagh Bog, notable for its historical significance in communications and aviation.

Continuing along the Wild Atlantic Way, we will pass through Clifden and reach Sky Road, offering views of the ocean. The next 3 hours are your choice: you can explore Connemara National Park or visit the exterior of Kylemore Abbey, a wedding gift commissioned by Mitchell Henry.

After regrouping, we'll cross the Twelve Bens and Maumturk mountains and the Inagh Valley, view the Connemara Giant, and stop at the Quiet Man Bridge before returning to Galway at 6:30 pm.
