Inisheer Island Ferry

At the port of Doolin, board a ferry to Inisheer, reachable in just 15 minutes. The island is home to around 300 residents.

Inisheer presents various activities to engage in and to discover its flora and fauna. Highlights include a stroll along the beach and views of the Clase, Burren, and Cliffs of Moher. You can also experience local culture through music and folk dancing shows at island restaurants, and a memorable horse-drawn carriage ride is recommended as an iconic transport method.

Departure times

You can board any ferry operating daily at the following times:

Outbound ferry from Doolin: at 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2.30 pm, and 5.15 pm.Return ferry from Inisheer: at 11.30 am, 1.45 pm, and 4.45 pm.

It is essential to arrive at the terminal at least 45 minutes before departure for both outbound and return ferries. If you opt for the 5.15 pm outbound ferry, you will need to return the next day and spend the night on Inisheer.
