Inisheer Island Ferry

From the port of Doolin, board a ferry to Inisheer. The journey takes 15 minutes to reach this island, home to approximately 300 residents.

Inisheer offers a variety of activities and opportunities to appreciate its fauna and flora. Recommended activities include a stroll along the beach and enjoying views of Clase, Burren, and the Cliffs of Moher.

You can also experience local culture through music and folk dancing performances in island restaurants. A ride in a horse-drawn carriage is another memorable way to explore the island.

Departure times

Ferries depart daily at the following times:

Outbound ferry from Doolin: 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2.30 pm, and 5.15 pm.Return ferry from Inisheer: 11.30 am, 1.45 pm, and 4.45 pm.

Arrive at the terminal at least 45 minutes before departure for both outbound and return ferries.

If taking the outbound ferry at 5.15 pm, you will need to return the following day and stay overnight on Inisheer.
