Inisheer Island Ferry

At the port of Doolin, you can board a ferry to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. After 15 minutes sailing, you will reach this island, which is home to 300 residents.

Inisheer offers various activities to enjoy the island and discover its flora and fauna. You can take a stroll along the beach and admire the coastline of Clase, Burren, and the Cliffs of Moher.

You can also experience local culture through music and folk dancing shows in island restaurants. A ride aboard a horse-drawn carriage is an iconic transportation method on these islands.

Departure times

You can board any ferry that departs daily at the following times:

Outbound ferry from Doolin: at 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm, and 5:15 pm.Return ferry from Inisheer: at 11:30 am, 1:45 pm, and 4:45 pm.

It is important to be at the terminal at least 45 minutes before the ferry's departure for both outbound and return ferries.

If you take the outbound ferry at 5:15 pm from Doolin, you will need to return the following day and spend the night on Inisheer island.
