If you love nature, then our Killary Fjord Kayak Tour is the perfect activity for you! You'll follow a unique sea kayaking route along the enchanting Killary Fjord while looking out at Connemara's mountain ranges.

Killary Fjord Kayak Tour

At 9:15 am, we'll meet in the Leenaun Delphi Resort where all the necessary equipment for the 3-hour kayak tour will be provided.

The kayaking route spans the 10 miles (16 kilometres) of Killary Fjord, a natural border between Galway and Mayo counties. It connects the Connemara County mountain ranges to the Atlantic Ocean, reaching depths of nearly 150 feet (45 metres) in some areas.

Participants should watch for the Mweelrea Mountain, the highest mountain in Connacht, as well as the Maumturks Mountains and the Twelve Bens mountain range.

This saltwater fjord hosts a diverse range of wildlife, and sightings of otters, ducks, plovers, and even dolphins are possible.

At 12:15 pm, we'll return to the starting point to conclude the activity.
