Tacarigua Hike + Lunch on Zaragoza Beach

During this excursion, we embark on a hiking adventure in Tacarigua before unwinding at the beach in Zaragoza. We will also savor traditional dishes from Isla Margarita.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel and make our way to Tacarigua, where our hiking journey begins, offering stunning perspectives of Isla Margarita. Adventure awaits!

After about 30 minutes of travel, we will arrive at Jardín Café. From this point, we will commence our ascent through one of the scenic trails, enveloped by vibrant flora, leading us to a lookout point atop one of the highest summits in Tacarigua.

Throughout the next three hours, we will delve into the nature and wildlife of the region. The panoramic views of Isla Margarita make the effort truly rewarding. Be sure to bring your camera!

Once we return to our starting point, we will recharge with a delicious empanada and a refreshing fruit juice, or opt for a cachapa. The choice is yours! Afterward, we will board our minibus and proceed to Zaragoza Square, where a delightful fish-centered meal awaits us.

It’s time to unwind! You’ll have an hour of free time to bask on the beach, enjoy the sun, and take a dip in the crystalline waters.

Subsequently, we will visit the Museo Pueblos in Margarita, where we will observe the traditional process of sugar cane transformation into a trapiche. To enhance this experience, we will conclude with a rum tasting paired with piñonate, a beloved local delicacy.

As we near the end of our tour, we will explore La Galera Fort in Juangriego, an exquisite location to witness the sunset.

At the conclusion of our journey, we will return you to your hotel after approximately 10 to 11 hours.
