Tacarigua Hike + Lunch on Zaragoza Beach

On this tour, we'll go on a hiking route around Tacarigua and relax on the beach in Zaragoza. Plus, we'll try typical food on Isla Margarita.

Description

At the specified time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Tacarigua, the starting point for our hiking route, which offers views of Isla Margarita. After about half an hour of travel, we'll arrive at Jardín Café to begin our ascent through lush vegetation to a viewpoint at one of the highest peaks in Tacarigua.

During the 3-hour hike, we will learn about the local nature and wildlife, enjoying breathtaking views of Isla Margarita. After hiking, we will return to the starting point for a snack of either an empanada pastry with fruit juice or a cachapa, and then proceed to Zaragoza Square for a fish-based lunch.

You will have one hour of free time to relax at the beach, enjoy the sun, or swim. We will later visit the Museo Pueblos in Margarita to see the traditional use of sugar cane in making a trapiche and participate in a rum tasting with a piñonate.

We will conclude the tour with a visit to La Galera Fort in Juangriego to admire the sunset before returning you to your hotel after approximately 10-11 hours.
