Chamonix Tour

After meeting up at the central bus station (Gare Routiere) in Geneva, we'll head to Chamonix. After an hour and a half’s drive, we'll reach the French mountain town, a significant mountaineering and winter sports center.

Upon arrival, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore Chamonix at your own pace. At noon, we will reconvene for a 40-minute guided tour.

During our walking tour through Chamonix, we will see key attractions, including Saint Michel’s Church and the statue of Jacques Balmat, the first mountaineer to summit Mount Blanc. The tour will cover the history of Chamonix and its development as a notable Alpine tourist destination since the 19th Century.

After the tour, you'll have free time to enjoy Chamonix. You can explore the streets, taste alpine cuisine, and shop at this renowned ski resort.

We return to Geneva around 6:15 pm.
