Chamonix Tour

After meeting at the Gare Routiere in Geneva, we will head to Chamonix. After an hour and a half drive, we will reach the French mountain town, known for being a vital mountaineering and winter sports center for over 100 years.

Upon arrival, you will have 2 hours of free time to explore Chamonix. At noon, the group will reconvene for a 40-minute guided tour.

During the waking tour, we will highlight main attractions, including Saint Michel’s Church and the statue of Jacques Balmat, the first person to summit Mount Blanc. The tour will cover the history of Chamonix and its significance as a tourist destination since the 19th Century.

After the tour, you will have additional free time to enjoy Chamonix, with opportunities to explore its charming streets, savor alpine cuisine, and shop in this renowned ski resort.

We will return to Geneva around 6:15 pm.
