Chamonix Tour

After meeting at the central bus station (Gare Routiere) in Geneva, we will head to Chamonix. The drive takes an hour and a half, leading us to this French mountain town, a significant center for mountaineering and winter sports for over 100 years.

Upon arrival, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore Chamonix at your leisure. At noon, we will regroup with the guide for a 40-minute guided tour.

During our walking tour through Chamonix, we will visit main attractions such as Saint Michel’s Church and the statue of Jacques Balmat, the first mountaineer to reach Mount Blanc. The tour includes insights into the history of Chamonix and its development as a key Alpine tourist destination since the 19th Century.

After the tour, enjoy free time to explore Chamonix further, including its charming streets, delicious alpine cuisine, and various shops at this renowned ski resort.

We will return to Geneva around 6:15 pm.
