Beautiful views of Lake Geneva, UNESCO-recognised terraced vineyards and a medieval fortress await on this Montreux Day Trip from Geneva.

Montreux Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll depart from the Geneva bus station heading east towards Montreux, driving along the shores of Lake Geneva, one of the main natural borders between Switzerland and France.

The first stop will be in Corsier-sur-Vevey, a picturesque village in the canton of Vaud, home to Chaplin's World. Admission to the exhibition is included only during the winter season.

Next, we'll visit the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the summer season, we'll enjoy an aperitif in this setting.

Our tour continues to the Château de Chillon, an impressive medieval fortress on Lake Geneva's shores, historically inspiring poets such as Lord Byron.

After visiting the Château, we'll drive to the centre of Montreux, where you'll have approximately two hours of free time for lunch and to photograph the large statue of Freddie Mercury beside Lake Geneva.

Finally, we will return to Geneva, arriving at the departure point between 6 pm and 6:30 pm.
