Beautiful views of Lake Geneva, UNESCO-recognised terraced vineyards and a medieval fortress await on this Montreux Day Trip from Geneva.

Montreux Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll depart from the Geneva bus station heading east towards Montreux, along the shores of Lake Geneva, a natural border between Switzerland and France.

The first stop will be in Corsier-sur-Vevey, a village in the Swiss canton of Vaud, home to Chaplin's World, a museum dedicated to Charlie Chaplin. Admission to the exhibition is included only during the winter season.

Next, we will tour the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the summer season, we will enjoy an aperitif in this unique setting.

We will then visit the Château de Chillon, a medieval fortress on the shores of Lake Geneva, known for inspiring poets like Lord Byron.

After the visit, we will drive to the centre of Montreux, where you will have approximately two hours of free time for lunch and to photograph the large statue of Freddie Mercury located beside Lake Geneva.

Finally, we will return to Geneva, arriving at the departure point between 6 pm and 6:30 pm.
