Why visit the Biosphere?
The Biosfera, or Biosphere, is one of the icons of Genoa and a staple in the city's skyline. This ticket provides access to this monument, also known as La Bolla, designed by architect Renzo Piano. This glass sphere located in Genoa's Porto Antico houses a zoo and a tropical garden, featuring various plants and animals.
Inside, there is a recreation of a small jungle inhabited by butterflies, iguanas, and up to 150 types of tropical plants such as ferns, banana trees, and rubber trees. The modern facilities of the Biosphere allow sunlight to enter, which helps these species thrive. You will learn various interesting facts about botany.
