At your selected time, we will convene inside the House of Christopher Columbus for an informative tour. Are you prepared to delve into the life of one of history's pivotal figures? Let’s begin!

Situated in the heart of Genoa, just a short distance from Porta Soprana and adjacent to the ancient medieval fortifications, this reconstructed site represents the residence where the navigator spent his youth with his father.

During our exploration, we will examine historical documentation that outlines the arrival of Dominic Columbus, the explorer's father, in this household in 1445. This will truly be a fascinating voyage into the past!

The interior also hosts a museum displaying an array of artifacts, maps, navigational tools, documents, and letters associated with the illustrious explorer who ventured across the Atlantic to the New World. The ground floor was utilized as a workshop, while a wooden-beamed loft differentiates it from the upper level, which housed private quarters.
