Welcome to the capital of Liguria! On this free tour of Genoa, we'll visit the historic centre of one of the most stunning cities in Italy.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll begin this free tour of Genoa from Piazza San Lorenzo in front of the cathedral steps.

After admiring the mix between the Romanesque and Gothic architecture on the church's exterior, we'll walk to the Ducal Palace of Genoa. We will learn about the history of this location before heading to the Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari.

From here, we will continue to the facade of the Carlo Felice Theatre, the grand Genoa Opera, and discover which famous plays have been performed there. Following this, we will stroll along Via Garibaldi to see its main palaces, including the impressive Palazzo Rosso.

Additionally, we will visit important religious buildings, including the Basilica of San Siro and the churches of San Luca and San Pietro Banchi.

Finally, we will pass some of the most iconic spots along the Via Degli Orefici and the Piazza Campetto. After 2 hours, we will conclude the tour by returning to the meeting point.
