The journey begins with a guided walking tour of Genoa's historic center. Participants will meet next to the tourist information office on via Garibaldi. The first stop is Piazza San Lorenzo, where the exterior of the Genoa Cathedral can be admired, noting the differing heights of its two front towers.

Behind the cathedral, the Doge's Palace is visited next, followed by a stop at the Carlo Felice Theatre, the principal opera house of Genoa. Here, information on notable performances at this venue will be shared.

The walking tour concludes on Via Garibaldi, where the Strada Nuova museums are located.

At the end of the walking tour, tickets for the Strada Nuova Museums will be distributed, allowing for exploration at your own pace.

The museums are situated in three historic buildings:

Palazzo Rosso: art gallery featuring works by artists such as Alberto Durero, Van Dyck, and Paolo Veronese.Palazzo Bianco: contains paintings by Caravaggio, Rubens, and Zurbarán.Palazzo Tursi: showcases a collection of sculptures, ceramics, coins, and musical instruments.
