Guided walking tour of Genoa

The guided walking tour starts at the tourist information office on via Garibaldi. We will visit Piazza San Lorenzo and view the exterior of the Genoa cathedral, noting its towers' differing heights. Behind the cathedral, we will see the Doge's Palace and continue to the Carlo Felice Theatre, where we will discuss its prominent performances. The tour concludes on Via Garibaldi, home to the Strada Nuova museums.

Tickets for the Strada Nuova museums

After the walking tour, you will receive tickets for the Strada Nuova Museums, which you may explore at your own pace.

The museums are located in the following historical buildings:

Palazzo Rosso: features masterpieces by artists including Alberto Durero, Van Dyck, and Paolo Veronese.Palazzo Bianco: home to works by Caravaggio, Rubens, and Zurbarán.Palazzo Tursi: houses historic sculptures, ceramics, coins, and musical instruments.
