Discover the Cayman Islands on this trip to East End, including an encounter with the blue iguana.
East End Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in George Town and take the road to the east of the island, passing through the residential district of South Sound to reach Pedro St. James.
Also known as Peter's Castle, this manor house was built in 1780 and has been refurbished for public visits. Here, we will view a multimedia presentation detailing the history of the Cayman Islands and the site itself.
Next, we will visit the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Garden, built in honor of the Queen of England. We will walk its trails, surrounded by indigenous plants, and observe friendly wildlife. The blue iguana is a symbol of the Cayman Islands, and we will look for this species along with the parrots present in the garden.
Finally, we will visit the blowholes to see this natural phenomenon. Afterward, we will return to George Town and drop you off at your hotel or the cruise port.
