East End Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in George Town and proceed east across the residential district of South Sound to Pedro St. James.
Also known as Peter's Castle, this manor house from an old plantation built in 1780 has been refurbished for public visits. An entertaining multimedia presentation will be shown, detailing the history of the Cayman Islands and the house.
Next, we will visit the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Garden, created in honour of the Queen of England. Participants will walk along trails surrounded by indigenous island plants, spotting friendly wildlife. The blue iguana, a symbol of the Cayman Islands, and local parrots will be among our targets for sighting during the visit.
Finally, we will see the blowholes to experience this natural phenomenon before returning to George Town. Afterward, we will drop you off at your hotel or the cruise port.
