East End Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in George Town and travel east, crossing the residential district of South Sound to reach Pedro St. James.
This location, also known as Peter's Castle, is a manor house from an old plantation built in 1780, which has been refurbished for public access. Here, we will watch a multimedia presentation on the history of the Cayman Islands and the manor.
After this visit, we will proceed to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Garden, established in honor of the Queen of England. We will walk along the trails with indigenous plants and discover its native wildlife. The blue iguana is a symbol of the Cayman Islands, and we will attempt to spot this species as well as the parrots that inhabit the garden.
Finally, we will visit the blowholes to witness this natural phenomenon. Afterward, we will return to George Town and drop you off at your hotel or the cruise port.
