The museum showcases ancient ceramics retrieved from shipwrecks, featuring artifacts from notable wrecks such as the Wanli, Turiang, Royal Nanhai, Nanyang, Xuande, and Desaru.

Located within the St. Jo's building, previously known as St. Joseph's Novitiate, the museum holds a unique cultural significance in Penang. It also features a chapel with stained glass windows. This museum is recommended for its blend of cultural and historical treasures.
