Guided Tour of Georgetown

We'll meet at the specified time next to the Parliament Building, at the intersection of Brickdam St and Avenue of the Republic, in Georgetown. Once assembled, we will begin our guided walking tour of the city.

Our first destination will be the Stabroek Market, where we will enter the metallic building to experience the vibrant atmosphere of locals purchasing a variety of products, including handicrafts and fruits and vegetables.

Next, we will explore the streets of the "Garden City" and observe its colonial-style buildings, providing a glimpse into the city's history.

Afterward, we will stop at St. George's Anglican Cathedral, noted as the tallest wooden church in the world. We will learn about its architectural significance while appreciating its exterior. Finally, we will visit Bourda Market for a refreshing drink of coconut water, concluding our tour.

The total duration of the tour is approximately 2.5 hours, ending back at the entrance of the market.
