To explore the culinary offerings of the capital of East Flanders, the free food tour of Ghent begins at the Hostel Uppelink at the scheduled time.

Participants will cross the River Lys via St. Michael's Bridge and enter the historic centre of Ghent to sample various Belgian gastronomic specialities, including traditional waffles, which may vary seasonally.

The tour includes visits to bars and street food stalls near Korenmarkt Square, St. Nicholas Church, and St. Bavo's Cathedral, where one can enjoy classic Belgian fries.

In other areas of Ghent's old town, participants can taste more iconic Belgian products, including delicious chocolates. A ticket will also be provided for tasting a typical beer at the Gentse Gruut Brouwerij brewery.

The tour lasts 1.5 hours, concluding in the central streets of Ghent's Old Town.
