Description

The capital of East Flanders offers a unique gastronomic experience. The free food tour of Ghent starts at the Hostel Uppelink at the designated time.

We will cross the River Lys via St. Michael's Bridge into the historic centre of Ghent, sampling various Belgian gastronomic specialities. Tastings may vary seasonally, including traditional waffles.

Participants will visit bars and street food stalls around Korenmarkt Square, St. Nicholas Church, and St. Bavo's Cathedral, enjoying classic Belgian fries.

Further in Ghent's old town, we will taste other iconic Belgian products, including delicious chocolates. A ticket will also be provided for a sample of a typical beer at Gentse Gruut Brouwerij.

The tour lasts 1.5 hours, concluding in the central streets of Ghent's Old Town.
