Ghent Guided Tour

This guided walking tour of Ghent begins at the Belfry and lasts two hours.

We'll visit the Castle of Gerald the Devil, St. Bavon's Cathedral (famous for the Ghent Altarpiece), the beautiful Belfry, and the Town Hall. Other stops include the oldest monuments in the city: St. Nicholas Church, Masons' Guild Hall, the small medieval harbor, the Gravensteen Castle, the district of Patershol, Friday Market Square, and the meat and fish markets.

The tour ends in the center of Ghent.

Travel

If you're traveling from Brussels, the best way to get to Ghent is to take the train from the central station at 8:30 am. From there, take tram number 1 towards Centrum to Kouter Square, with the stop at Korte Meer.
