Hop onto a surfboard and learn how to ride the waves of the Cantabrian Sea with our Gijón Surfing Lesson. You'll have an expert instructor to guide you as you gain confidence on the board.

Gijón Surfing Lesson

At your chosen time, we'll meet on Avenida Rufo García Rendueles to start our surfing lesson. Upon arrival at the surf school, we'll hand out the wetsuits and surfboards. We'll head to the beach to complete some simple technical exercises on the sand.

We'll teach you how to paddle and how to stand up on the board, along with useful tricks for your time in the water. Once we're in the sea, we'll wait for the perfect wave to start paddling so you can catch it and ride the crest. Don't worry if you can't stand up on your first try; the most important thing is persistence!

After 2 hours of surfing in the Cantabrian Sea, we'll finish the lesson back at the surf school.
