Enjoy an extraordinary experience watching dolphins and whales in the Gulf of Taranto, where the Ionian Sea offers the ideal backdrop for witnessing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

Activity Overview

The stunning Ionian coast serves as our departure point, where we will gather at Lido La Capannina before embarking on our search for these remarkable marine species.

As we set sail, captivating stories about the ancient province of Taranto—known as "Taras" in antiquity—will be shared, providing insight into the region's rich maritime history. Once we drift away from the shoreline, the focus will shift to spotting dolphins and sperm whales gracefully gliding through the Ionian Sea.

Witness the excitement as these fascinating creatures playfully jump and swim alongside our boat, performing acrobatic feats like pirouettes. To conclude our adventure, we will enjoy a tasty snack with refreshments onboard.

Following this engaging 2-hour journey, we will make our way back to the port at Marina di Ginosa.
