Cadaques & Cap de Creus Day Trip
Meet at 8:30 am in the Plaça de Sant Feliu in Girona. From there, we will head to the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, located in the mountains of La Albera.
Explore this historic gem of Catalan Romanesque architecture, including the church, bell tower, cloister, sacristies, and the Abbot's palace. Our English-speaking guide will provide details about the monastery's history and architecture, along with spectacular views over the Gulf of Roses and the Cap de Creus Natural Park.
At around 11 am, we will visit the breathtaking wilderness of Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. We will explore Portlligat and enjoy the views over the Costa Brava. Cap de Creus is part of a protected area of natural interest with seaside towns like Port de la Selva, Roses, and Cadaques.
Enjoy a half-hour walk through the park before traveling to Cadaques. Upon arrival, you will have an hour and a half for lunch at a local restaurant (not included). After lunch, we will conduct a guided tour of the historic centre of Cadaques.
Finally, we will return to Girona at 6 pm.
