Girona Cinema Museum Ticket

By booking a ticket to the Girona Cinema Museum, you'll explore the history of cinema from its 19th-century beginnings to its development on television. Learn about milestones such as the Lumière brothers' invention of the cinematograph in 1895 and observe equipment from different eras showcasing the evolution of film.

Do not miss the Tomàs Mallol collection, renowned for its diverse and extensive cinematographic instruments. The museum aims to present information about cinema through engaging images and audiovisual shows. Its interactive activities cater to all audiences, featuring a collection of nearly 8,000 objects.

Opening Hours

From September to June: Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. Sundays and public holidays that fall on Mondays from 10 am to 2 pm.July and August: Mondays to Saturdays from 10 am to 7 pm. Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm.

Last admission is 45 minutes before closing time.

Free Entry

Entry is free on the first Sunday of each month, the 28th of December, and the 18th of May.
