Girona Walking Tour
After meeting at the designated time in Plaça de Sant Feliu, located on the banks of the Onya River, our guided walking tour of Girona will begin.
Firstly, we will admire the exterior of the Church of St Felix and learn about its legends and history, before proceeding to the next stop.
Next, we will explore the history of Girona's Arab baths and then visit the nearby Sant Pere de Galligants Abbey, known for its interesting facts and architecture.
We will then head to the ancient city walls to discuss Girona's Roman and Carolingian past. Strolling around the historic centre, our guide will share insights on the city's medieval history as we admire the façade of the Cathedral, located at the highest point of the city.
Our next destination will be the Call, Girona's historic Jewish Quarter. We will walk down Carrer de la Força, pass by the house of architect Rafael Masó, and reach the banks of the Onyar River again. We will view the Pont de les Peixateries Velles, designed by Gustave Eiffel's workshop.
Our tour will conclude after 3 hours at the Plaça de la Independència.
