After meeting at the indicated time in Plaça de Sant Feliu, located on the banks of the Onya River, our guided walking tour of Girona will begin.
Firstly, we will admire the exterior of the Church of St Felix and learn about its legends and history before moving to the next stop.
Next, we will explore the history of Girona's Arab baths and then visit the nearby Sant Pere de Galligants Abbey, a notable medieval monastery.
Then, we will proceed to the ancient city walls to discover Girona's Roman and Carolingian past. As we stroll through the historic centre, our guide will provide insights into its medieval history while we view the façade of the Cathedral, situated at the highest point of the city.
Our next destination will be the Call, Girona's historic Jewish Quarter. We will walk down Carrer de la Força, pass by the birthplace of architect Rafael Masó, and return to the banks of the Onyar River. We will also see the Pont de les Peixateries Velles, the Bridge of the Old Fishmongers, designed by Gustave Eiffel's workshop.
The tour of Girona will conclude after 3 hours in the Plaça de la Independència.
