Girona Walking Tour
After meeting at the time indicated in Plaça de Sant Feliu, located on the banks of the Onya River, our guided walking tour of Girona will begin.
We will start by admiring the exterior of the Church of St Felix, learning about its legends and history. Next, we will discover the history of Girona's Arab baths before visiting Sant Pere de Galligants Abbey, a notable medieval monastery.
Then, we will head to the ancient city walls to explore Girona's Roman and Carolingian past. We will continue through the historic center, where our guide will discuss the city’s medieval history as we admire the façade of the Cathedral, situated at the city's highest point.
Our next destination will be the Call, known as Girona's historic Jewish Quarter. We will stroll down Carrer de la Força, passing the birthplace of architect Rafael Masó and reaching the banks of the Onyar River. Spanning the river, we will see the iconic Pont de les Peixateries Velles, designed by Gustave Eiffel's workshop.
