Girona Walking Tour

After meeting at the time indicated in Plaça de Sant Feliu, located on the banks of the Onya River, our guided walking tour of Girona will begin.

Firstly, admire the exterior of the Church of St Felix. We'll learn about its legends and history before moving on. Not far from there, we will explore the history of Girona's Arab baths and visit the nearby Sant Pere de Galligants Abbey, a medieval monastery with beautiful architecture.

Next, we will proceed to the ancient city walls to discuss Girona's Roman and Carolingian past. We will stroll around the historic centre of the city, where our guide will reveal its medieval history and we will admire the façade of the Cathedral, located at the highest point of the city.

Our next stop will be the Call, Girona's historic Jewish Quarter. Here, we will walk down Carrer de la Força, passing the house of architect Rafael Masó and returning to the banks of the Onyar River. We will also see the Pont de les Peixateries Velles, or Bridge of the Old Fishmongers, designed by Gustave Eiffel's workshop.

Our tour of Girona will conclude after 3 hours in Plaça de la Independència.
