We will meet at Plaça de Sant Feliu square to begin the guided tour of the Jewish neighborhood of Girona, noted for being one of the best-preserved in Europe. This historical district retains its original appearance and is filled with ancient remains from its Roman and Medieval past. The area, known as the "Call", housed one thousand inhabitants during the Middle Ages and was one of Spain's crucial Jewish communities.

As you navigate the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter, the birthplace of Nachmanides, you will visit the locations of the city's three synagogues.

During the tour, learn about the customs and traditions of the Jewish residents, their practical tools, and house designs. The visit to the Museum of Jewish History will provide further insight into their lifestyle. Your guide will explain the history of the Expulsion of the Jews in 1492, which marked the end of 600 years of coexistence. After three hours exploring the "Call", your tour will conclude, enriching your understanding of the Jewish community's influence in Girona.
