Sightseeing Bus Route & Stops

This open-top bus tour allows you to explore Glasgow at your own pace, complemented by pre-recorded commentary. The bus operates on a Red line with an 80-minute route featuring 21 stops. Key stops include George Square, Glasgow Cathedral, Merchant City, Barras Market, Glasgow Green, St Vincent Place, Riverside Museum, Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and Charing Cross.

How Does it Work?

You can choose between 2 types of ticket: the 24-hour ticket and the 48-hour ticket. During this period, you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you like at various locations including George Square and Glasgow University.

Additional Info

When booking, you'll select a start day; however, the service is available anytime within 12 months from the selected date. A voucher will be sent via email which you must print and show when boarding the first bus.

Schedule & Frequency

The Glasgow Hop-On Hop-Off bus operates every day (excluding December 25, 26, and January 1) with the following schedule:

25 March – 26 May: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm27 May – 20 August: 9:30 am – 5 pm21 August – 2 November: 10 am – 4:30 pmFrom 3 November onwards: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm

Buses run every 30 minutes.

A family ticket is available for 2 adults and 3 children aged 5 to 15.
