    As you travel toward your first distillery you will pass Stirling the “Gateway to the Scottish Highlands”. The mighty Stirling Castle sits proudly keeping watch over the city.

    Deanston Distillery & Visitor Centre

    Deanston Distillery is on the banks of the River Teith and started life back in 1785 as a cotton mill until 1966 where it transformed into today’s distillery. The only distillery in Scotland to be self-sufficient in electricity with its power coming from the River Teith. After we’ve shown you round, you’ll get the chance to taste 2 delicious single malts.
