Isle of Skye & Highlands Tour: 3 Days
Day 1: Glasgow - Lake Lomond - Glencoe - Fort William - Isle of Skye
Departure from Glasgow, heading to the village of Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond. Travel north through Tyndrum, pass Rannoch Moor, and visit Glen Coe Valley, the site of the 1692 Macdonald Clan massacre. Next, lunch in Fort William with a photo opportunity of Ben Nevis, followed by stops at Glen Garry and the Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range. The day concludes in Portree, Isle of Skye, for accommodation check-in.
Day 2: Isle of Skye (Cuillin Mountains – Dunvegan – Kilt Rock)
After breakfast, depart from Portree to explore the Isle of Skye. Options include visiting Dunvegan Castle, Uig, Flora MacDonald’s grave, and the Black Houses. Continue to Duntulm Castle for photos at Kilt Rock and a walk to Lealt Falls. The day ends with a visit to Old Man of Storr before returning to Portree.
Day 3: Eilean Donan – Loch Ness – Inverness – Pitlochry - Glasgow
Travel back to Edinburgh, stopping at Eilean Donan Castle, then lunch in Fort Augustus with views of Loch Ness. The tour proceeds over Laggan and the Grampian mountains, concluding with refreshments in Pitlochry before finishing in Edinburgh. Your guide will assist you to Edinburgh Waverley railway station for a 50-minute train journey back to Glasgow.
