Isle of Skye & Highlands Tour: 3 Days
Day 1: Glasgow - Lake Lomond - Glencoe - Fort William - Isle of Skye
We will depart from Glasgow and head to Luss, located on the banks of Loch Lomond. Next, we will travel through Tyndrum and Rannoch Moor, before visiting Glen Coe Valley, known for the 1692 Macdonald Clan massacre. We will then go to Fort William for lunch, with a photo opportunity of Ben Nevis, followed by stops at Glen Garry and the Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range. The day concludes in Portree, where we will check into our accommodation.
Day 2: Isle of Skye (Cuillin Mountains – Dunvegan – Kilt Rock)
After breakfast, the tour departs Portree to explore the Isle of Skye. You can choose options including Dunvegan Castle, a trip to Uig, Flora MacDonald’s grave, and the Black Houses. We will continue to Duntulm Castle, Kilt Rock, and Lealt Falls. The day will end with a visit to the Old Man of Storr before returning to Portree.
Day 3: Eilean Donan – Loch Ness – Inverness – Pitlochry - Glasgow
On our return to Edinburgh, we will see Eilean Donan Castle and stop at Fort Augustus for lunch near Loch Ness. The tour continues over Laggan and the Grampian mountains, with a final stop in Pitlochry for refreshments before concluding in Edinburgh. Your guide will take you to Edinburgh Waverley railway station for the 50-minute train back to Glasgow.
