Nilaveli Beginner's Diving

When you book, you can select one of the following options depending on the depth you want to dive.

All bookings meet at 1:30 pm at the Nilaveli Diving Centre to receive your equipment. Then, you will take a speedboat to a designated diving area for beginners. The dive lasts around 40 to 50 minutes, returning to the mainland by approximately 4:30 pm.

6-metre dive

This option is suitable for individuals who have never been diving before. You will be accompanied by the instructor throughout the dive.

12-metre dive

complete experience. You will dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres and will learn how to prepare and handle the equipment, advancing your journey towards becoming a certified diver.

Hotel pick up

This activity includes pick-up from hotels in Nilaveli, Trincomalee, Uppuveli, and Kuchchaveli.

Important information

After the activity, you must wait at least 24 hours before flying or visiting areas of high altitude.
