Nilaveli Beginner's Diving

Discover the underwater world of Nilaveli with this diving activity for beginners. You can choose your dive depth and will be accompanied by a professional instructor.

Nilaveli Beginner's Diving

When you book, you can select one of the following options depending on the depth you want to dive.

For all bookings, we'll meet at 1:30 pm and take you to the Nilaveli Diving Centre where you'll be given your equipment. Then, we'll hop on a speedboat and sail to one of the best diving areas for beginners. After around a 40 to 50 minute dive, we'll head back to the mainland for around 4:30 pm.

6-metre dive

This option is ideal for anyone who's never been diving before and isn't confident yet. You'll be accompanied by the instructor the whole time.

12-metre dive

If you've been wanting to go diving for a while and want more of a complete experience, this option is for you. You'll dive down to a maximum depth of 12 metres and learn how to prepare and handle the equipment. You'll also be one step closer to becoming a certified diver.

Hotel pick up

This activity includes pick up from hotels located in Nilaveli, Trincomalee, Uppuveli, and Kuchchaveli.

After the activity, you must wait at least 24 hours before flying or going to areas of high altitude.
