After completing the PADI Open Water Course, take the next step with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

The course includes five dives: Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation are mandatory, plus three adventure dives from the following options:

Shipwreck diving.Night diving.Identification of AWARE fish.Boat diving.Buoyancy.

Day 1: Deep diving and underwater navigation

On the first day, pickup from your hotel is at 8:30 am, followed by transport to the diving centre in Nilaveli. You will receive your equipment and proceed to the dive site via speedboat.

The morning focuses on deep diving and underwater navigation, teaching you to dive to 30 metres and navigate underwater with a compass.

Return to your hotel after the dives.

Days 2 and 3: Adventure dives

The second and third days are dedicated to the three adventure dives you selected.

These days will involve exploring the sea bed of Nilaveli, with options including night diving, shipwreck exploration, or buoyancy improvement.

Successful completion of all exercises leads to obtaining the Advanced Open Water Diver course certification.

Requirements

Completion of the PADI Open Water Course is required to obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate.

Hotel pick up

Hotel pickup is included for those staying in Nilaveli. Other guests must reach Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post independently.
