PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Complete your diver training in Nilaveli with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. You'll increase your dive depth to 30 metres and practice 3 adventure dives.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

If you've completed the PADI Open Water Course and want to advance in scuba diving, the next step is the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. During the course, you'll complete five dives. Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation are mandatory, then you choose three from the following adventure dives:

Shipwreck diving.Night diving.Identification of AWARE fish.Boat diving.Buoyancy.

Day 1: Deep diving and underwater navigation

On the first day, pickup is at 8:30 am from your hotel to go to the diving centre in Nilaveli. You'll receive your equipment before heading to the dive site. The morning will focus on deep diving and underwater navigation, essential for passing the course. After the dives, you'll be returned to your hotel.

Days 2 and 3: Adventure dives

The second and third days will be dedicated to the three adventure dives you selected. Options include night diving, shipwreck exploration, or buoyancy improvement. Upon successful completion of all exercises, you'll finish the Advanced Open Water Diver course.

Requirements

To obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, you must have previously completed the PADI Open Water Course.

Hotel pick up

This activity includes pickup from hotels in Nilaveli. If staying elsewhere, you must go to Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post.
