Description

At the designated meeting point on Calle Cenascuras, we will commence our enchanting jeep safari in the Gorafe Desert. This adventure will guide us through one of the most captivating areas of the Granada Geopark.

Our first destination will be the Gorafe Megalithic Park, an archaeological treasure nestled in the Gor River Valley. Here, we will examine a variety of ancient burial monuments from the Bronze Age and delve into their intriguing histories.

After this insightful stop, we will hop back into our jeeps to continue our exploration of the Gorafe Desert, an area that was once home to prehistoric creatures, including saber-toothed tigers and other large mammals.

As we navigate through the badlands, prepare to encounter deep canyons, ravines, and fairy chimneys. The landscape features unique rock formations, sculpted by the relentless forces of water and wind over countless years.

Throughout the tour, we will stop at various viewpoints such as the Olivares Plain, Pinos Hill, and Bandera Hill, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking vistas of the region. Additionally, we will make a stop at Los Coloraos, a spectacular natural area that evokes the grandeur of the Grand Canyon with its striking reddish hues and formations.

After approximately five hours of exploration, our journey will conclude back at the original meeting point.
