European settlers left an undeniable mark on southern Brazil. Discover it on this tour of Italian immigration in Gramado and Linha Nova, where we'll also enjoy a tasty lunch.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Gramado onboard a jardineira. On this typical Brazilian bus, we'll tour the city in search of the legacy of Italian immigration.

We'll first make our way towards the Família Masotti Winery to visit their vineyards and taste some of their wines, learning about the nuances of aroma, flavor, and color.

The next stop will be at the Velho Casarão Farm, where we'll see a dedicated presentation to Vicenzo Marcon, one of the pioneers of Italian immigration in southern Brazil.

Continuing, we'll visit the Cavichion Mill, originally used by German and Italian settlers in the 20th century. After learning about its history, we'll head to the Linha Bella Cantina, an Italian restaurant for a typical buffet lunch featuring traditional dishes made in a woodfire oven.

After lunch, we'll leave Gramado and drive for an hour to reach Linha Nova. Here, we'll visit the first butcher and slaughterhouse in the region and the city's first market.

Finally, we'll return to the hotels in Gramado, completing our tour in approximately 6 hours.
