Join us to discover one of the lushest landscapes in Brazil on this excursion to the Itaimbezinho Canyon. We'll see the largest canyon in Latin America and learn about the native wildlife.

Itaimbezinho Canyon Day Trip

We'll pick you up at the selected meeting point at the scheduled time and head to the city of Cambará do Sul to explore the largest canyon in Latin America.

Once in the Aparatos da Serra National Park, we'll admire the Itaimbezinho canyon, almost 6 kilometers (4 mi) long and 700 meters (2,300 feet) deep. This area has served as a set for various Brazilian series and movies.

In the vicinity of the gorge, we'll discuss its huge basaltic walls, formed over 130 million years ago due to tectonic plate movements and eruptions. This sedimentation led to a rich ecosystem, including species from the Atlantic Forest and Araucaria Forest.

During the excursion, we'll walk along two low-difficulty trails, the Vértice and the Cotovelo, which will take us to lookout points for breathtaking views. Please remember to bring your camera!

After a day of adventures, we'll conclude the Itaimbezinho canyon excursion by dropping you off back at the meeting point.
