Linha Ávila Jardineira Bus Tour
At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Praça das Etnias in Gramado and board a jardineira, a local vehicle similar to a bus.
On this tour through Linha Ávila, we will learn about the legacy of the European and Gaucho cultures. We will begin by visiting the Wagner family, who will share the history of Lírio and Terezinha and show us the more rural side of Gramado. We will also visit a strawberry plantation where you can purchase homemade sweets made with local products.
Next, we will explore the history of Italian immigration at the Cantina Nonno Giovanni, where we will observe the wine production process and taste traditional delicacies like cheeses, sausages, and homemade bread.
To conclude the tour, we will visit Sítio Tradição to learn about the mixed indigenous Gaucho culture and cuisine. Here we will enjoy a typical lunch featuring one of Gramado's popular dishes: grilled ribs. You will have free time to join a workshop or take a horseback ride if desired.
After a total of six hours, we will return to the starting point at Praça das Etnias.
