Tour Details
At the specified time, we will meet in central Granada and start our journey towards the Albaicin, recognized as one of the most captivating corners of the city.
The Albaicin has a rich history, having been home to the earliest civilizations of the region: Iberians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths, and Arabs inhabited this neighborhood before it was taken by the Christians.
As we stroll through its narrow, cobblestoned streets, taking in the sights of its fountains and historical monuments, you will see why it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, alongside the Alhambra.
We will then proceed to the Sacromonte neighborhood, renowned globally for its caves, gypsy culture, and the genuine expression of flamenco. During our walk, we will pass by numerous cisterns, Mudejar churches, and stunning viewpoints.
One highlight of our tour will be the Mirador de San Nicolás viewpoint, which provides stunning views of the magnificent Alhambra. From this vantage point, you'll have a clear view of the towers of the Nasrid palaces, the Generalife palace, and the fortress, all in their full glory.
After 2 hours of exploring these two neighborhoods, the tour will conclude.
