History, tradition, legends, music, and more... there's so much to be discovered on this tour of the Albaicin and Sacramonte, two of the most emblematic neighborhoods in Granada. Not to be missed!
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet in central Granada and from there we'll walk towards the Albaicin, considered one of the most charming and beautiful corners of the entire city.
The Albaicin was home to the first civilizations in the region: Iberians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths, and Arabs inhabited the neighborhood until it was eventually claimed by the Christians.
As we walk along its winding, cobblestoned streets, admiring its fountains and monuments, you'll understand why, in 1984 alongside the Alhambra, it was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We'll then make our way to the Sacromonte. This neighborhood is known worldwide for its caves, gypsy culture, and its flamenco in the most authentic form. Along the way, we'll show you countless cisterns, Mudejar churches and beautiful viewpoints.
And, of course, we'll visit the Mirador de San Nicolás viewpoint. This special spot offers breathtaking views of the majestic Alhambra. From here, we can see the towers of the Nasrid palaces, the Generalife palace and the fortress in all their splendour.
After 2 hours exploring these two neighborhoods, the tour will come to an end.
