Tour Details

We will meet at Paseo del Generalife 1F, 18009, to begin the night tour of the Alhambra, recognized as a premier treasure of the Islamic world.

The tour starts at the Palace of Charles V, commissioned to commemorate the honeymoon of the emperor with Isabella of Portugal in 1526. Entering through the Puerta del Vino and Puerta de la Justicia, we will explore the blend of Islamic and Renaissance architectural styles. The Patio de Pedro Machuca features a circular layout within a square building.

We will then visit the Nasrid Palaces: the Mexuar Courtyard and the Court of Lions. These architectural highlights showcase the intricate Andalusian decoration of the ceilings and stuccoes.

Upon entering the Court of Lions, enjoy the illuminated fountain that creates enchanting water arches. We will proceed to the Palace of the Abencerrajes, taking time to appreciate the lights reflected in the pool below. Remember to bring your camera.

After experiencing the allure of the Alhambra at night, the tour concludes 1.5 hours later, near the meeting point.
