Details of the Alhambra Tour
We will convene at the scheduled time at Paseo de la Sabica, number 32. From there, we will proceed to the most frequented site in Spain for a guided exploration of the Alhambra and the Nazareth Palaces. Are you prepared to uncover the secrets of this historic palace fortress, which dates back to the Emirate of Granada?
The journey begins with a visit to the three Nazareth Palaces: Mexur, Comares, and Leones. In the Leones palace, we will encounter the renowned fountain that stands as a metaphor for Andalusian artistry.
After taking in the intricate details of the Nazareth palaces and learning about their fascinating history and tales, we will head to the Palace of Carlos V. The emperor, captivated by the beauty of Granada during his honeymoon, commissioned this Renaissance landmark, which marks a significant chapter in the history of the old Emirate capital.
Next, our journey will lead us to the ancient fortress area, where we will investigate the remains of the medina and the Alcazaba. We will also view the Tower of the Candle, celebrated as one of the most notable watchtowers within the complex. Our adventure will culminate with a stroll through the stunning gardens of the Generalife.
This experience is expected to last between 3 to 4 hours. Once completed, you will receive the Granada City Pass.
