Cordoba Day Trip

We'll meet at 9 am in the Plaza de las Descalzas and head to Cordoba, located two and a half hours from Granada.

From the city of the Alhambra to the city of the Mosque. Upon arrival in Cordoba, we'll explore the narrow streets of its historical center, experiencing the city's Muslim past through its arches and decorated facades.

Small shops, busy squares, Jewish and Roman heritage... During the walk, we'll learn about the city's rich history. The old city of Cordoba has four sites designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The main highlight will be the Mosque-Cathedral, the city's most iconic structure. We'll explore the cultural contrasts within its walls, reflecting the influence of the Visigoths, Muslims, and Christians. We will see the red and white arches of what was the largest mosque in the world and the Christian cathedral integrated within the Muslim prayer hall.

Next, we'll visit the Jewish quarter, known for its beauty. Its narrow streets are adorned with pots, leading us to notable sites such as the Souk, the Synagogue and the House of Sepharad.

After visiting key locations in Cordoba, we'll return to Granada, concluding the tour between 4 and 5 pm at the Plaza de Mariana Pineda.
