Cordoba Day Trip

We'll meet at 9 am in the Plaza de las Descalzas and head to Cordoba, approximately two and a half hours from Granada.

Upon arrival, we will explore the narrow streets of Cordoba's historical center and experience its Muslim past through arches and tiles.

During the walk, we will learn about the city's history, including its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to four significant locations.

The main attraction will be the Mosque-Cathedral, the most iconic building in Cordoba. We will explore the cultural contrasts of its architecture, highlighting the legacy of the Visigoths, Muslims, and Christians. This includes seeing the renowned red and white arches and the Christian cathedral within the Muslim prayer hall.

We will also visit the Jewish quarter, noted for its beauty, with narrow streets and notable sites such as the Souk, the Synagogue, and the House of Sepharad.

After visiting the key sites in Cordoba, we will return to Granada. The tour concludes between 4 and 5 pm in the Plaza de Mariana Pineda.
