Cordoba Day Trip

We'll meet at 9 am in the Plaza de las Descalzas and travel to Cordoba, two and a half hours away from Granada.

Upon arrival in Cordoba, we'll explore the narrow streets of its historical centre. As we pass through the arches and tiles adorning the facades, we'll relive the city's Muslim past.

During the walk, we’ll learn about the small shops, busy squares, and Jewish and Roman heritage. The old city of Cordoba boasts four UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The highlight of the day is the Mosque-Cathedral, the city's most symbolic building. We'll explore the legacy of the Visigoths, Muslims, and Christians, seeing the red and white arches of what was once the largest mosque in the world, along with the Christian cathedral located in the Muslim prayer hall.

Next, we’ll visit the Jewish quarter, recognized as one of Spain's most beautiful. Its narrow streets, adorned with pots, will lead us to significant sites like the Souk, the Synagogue, and the House of Sepharad.

After visiting key sites in Cordoba, we will return to Granada, concluding the tour between 4 and 5 pm in the Plaza de Mariana Pineda.
