Gollizno Hike
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Plaza del Profesor Fontboté square. There, we'll get into a minibus and drive for about 20 minutes until we reach our destination.
Upon arrival, we'll enter the Tajos de la Hoz, a natural gorge formed by water erosion. We will cross a small asphalt road towards the Velillos River, where we will walk along part of the river path.
We will cross a suspension bridge that offers views of the area and continue to Moclín, which is home to significant defensive structures from the Nasrid era, including the Castle of Moclín. After crossing the suspension bridge and footbridges over the Velillos River, we will reach Fuente de Corcuela, near which are ancient cave paintings.
Finally, we will return to the vehicle and head back to Granada, arriving at 1 pm.
