Granada Cármenes Tour

Join our Granada Cármenes Tour to explore local culture in Granada. The tour begins at 10 am on Paseo del Generalife and lasts for 2 hours, during which we will visit 3 manors known as cármenes to learn about their architecture and history.

Our first stop is the Carmen of Martyrs, a 19th-century manor located at the foot of the Alhambra. We will explore its baroque garden, featuring French details and numerous sculptures, and observe swans in the pond before walking through the Nasrid courtyard.

Next, we will head to the Albaicín neighbourhood, where we will enter two more manors. While walking, we will admire the façades of significant buildings, including the Carmen of Our Lady of Angustias and the Carmen of Three Stars with its Arab-influenced architecture.

We will then visit the Carmen of Victoria, noted for its impressive use of water, followed by the Carmen of Max Moreau, where we will learn about its Belgian painter owner. The tour concludes at Plaza Nueva at 12 noon.

Important

Capacity at the Carmen of Victoria is very limited. If we cannot visit this location, we will substitute it with the Palacio de los Córdova and the Archaeological Museum (Casa de Hernándo de Zafra).
