Granada Cármenes Tour
Our Granada Cármenes Tour is designed to provide insight into local culture in Granada, featuring a walk through the Albaicín neighborhood known for its unique houses. The tour lasts for 2 hours, starting at 10 am on Paseo del Generalife, where we will visit three Granada manors called cármenes.
The first stop is the Carmen of Martyrs, a 19th-century manor located at the foot of the Alhambra. Visitors will explore its baroque garden, featuring unique French details, sculptures, and the English Orchard with swans in the pond before entering the Nasrid courtyard.
Next, we will proceed to the Albaicín neighborhood to visit two additional manors, including the Carmen of Our Lady of Angustias and the Carmen of Three Stars, which showcases Arab-influenced architecture.
The tour continues to the Carmen of Victoria, noted for its water features. Following this, we will visit the Carmen of Max Moreau, where participants can walk through the gardens and learn about the Belgian painter who cherished Granada.
The tour concludes at Plaza Nueva at 12 noon.
Important
Capacity at the Carmen of Victoria is limited. If access is not possible, we will visit the Palacio de los Córdova and the Archaeological Museum (Casa de Hernándo de Zafra) instead.
