Experience the essence of Granada through our Cármenes Tour, designed for those eager to immerse themselves in the local cultural heritage. Stroll through the enchanting Albaicín neighborhood, characterized by its stunning houses, renowned for their unique architectural style and exquisite gardens. You'll have the opportunity to enter three traditional cármenes during this exploration.

Cármenes Tour in Granada

Join us at 10 am at Paseo del Generalife. Throughout this two-hour journey, you will explore three notable manors, known as cármenes, where you can appreciate their architectural beauty while uncovering their fascinating history.

Our first destination is the Carmen of Martyrs, a charming 19th-century manor nestled at the base of the renowned Alhambra. You will be welcomed into its baroque garden featuring distinct French design elements and a variety of sculptures. Keep an eye out for the elegant swans gliding on the pond as we wander through the exquisite Nasrid courtyard.

After our initial visit, we will proceed into the heart of the Albaicín district, the oldest area in Granada. Here, we will explore two more manors, all while admiring the facades of iconic structures such as the Carmen of Our Lady of Angustias and the striking Carmen of Three Stars, notable for its Arabic-inspired architecture.

Our next stop is the Carmen of Victoria, celebrated for its remarkable use of water elements. Following this, we will explore the Carmen of Max Moreau. As we journey through this manor and its gardens, you will learn about its owner, a Belgian artist captivated by the charm of Granada (a sentiment many share!).

After visiting the three cármenes, we will conclude our tour at Plaza Nueva by 12 noon.
