Discover the history of the capital of Nicaragua on this tour of Managua, where we'll visit the most important spots in the city. You'll also enjoy a typical Nicaraguan meal.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel to begin this tour of the capital of Nicaragua. Ready to discover Managua? Let's go!

We'll explore main points of interest including Tiscapa Hill, where we'll learn about Somoza's regime and enjoy views of the city and Xolotlán Lake.

We'll also visit the National Palace, which is now home to the National Archive, National Library, and National Museum.

Our tour continues to Plaza de la Revolución Square, where the old Managua Cathedral resides, built in a neoclassical style. We will then proceed to the Salvador Allende harbour in the Malecón, an area with restaurants overlooking Xolotlán Lake.

Finally, we will enjoy a traditional Nicaraguan meal, allowing for a taste of local cuisine.

After 5 hours of sightseeing, we will return to the hotels, concluding the tour after approximately 6 or 7 hours.
