Travel back in time to the age of the Roman Empire on our day trip to the Roman Villa of Salar. You'll visit this archaeological site in Granada and learn about this residence from the 1st century.

Roman Villa of Salar Day Trip

At 11 am, we'll meet in the Plaza de las Descalzas in Granada. We'll board our minibus for a 45-minute drive to the village of Salar.

Upon arrival, we will explore one of the most significant Roman residences in the Iberian Peninsula. We will see key areas, including the central courtyard, bedrooms, and dining room, while examining the well-preserved Roman mosaics and discussing their symbolism.

After our visit to the Roman Villa of Salar, we will proceed to the Visitor Centre to learn more about the site's history. We will discover that it was inhabited between the 1st and 6th centuries and remained forgotten until its discovery in 2004.

You will have 2 hours of free time to explore the village of Salar and try some local cuisine.

Finally, we will return to our minibus and head back to the starting point, arriving at 4 pm.
