Travel back in time to the age of the Roman Empire on our day trip to the Roman Villa of Salar. You'll visit this little-known archaeological treasure in Granada and learn about this ancient residence from the 1st century.

Roman Villa of Salar Day Trip

At 11 am, we'll meet in the Plaza de las Descalzas in Granada. We'll hop aboard our minibus for a 45-minute drive to the village of Salar.

Upon arrival, we'll explore one of the most important Roman residences in the Iberian Peninsula. We'll admire key areas such as the central courtyard, bedrooms, and dining room, observing the well-preserved Roman mosaics and their symbolism.

Following our visit to the villa, we'll head to the Visitor Centre to learn more about its history, including habitation from the 1st to 6th centuries and its rediscovery in 2004.

You will have 2 hours of free time to explore the village of Salar and enjoy local gastronomy.

We will return to the starting point by minibus, arriving at 4 pm.
