Travel back in time to the age of the Roman Empire on our day trip to the Roman Villa of Salar. You'll visit this little-known archaeological treasure in Granada and learn about this ancient residence from the 1st century.

Roman Villa of Salar Day Trip

At 11 am, we'll meet in the Plaza de las Descalzas in Granada. We'll board our minibus and set off on the 45-minute drive to the village of Salar.

Upon arrival, we'll explore one of the most important Roman residences in the Iberian Peninsula. We'll admire the central courtyard, bedrooms, and dining room, observing the well-preserved Roman mosaics and discussing their significance.

After visiting the Roman Villa of Salar, we'll go inside the Visitor Centre to learn more about its history. This villa was inhabited between the 1st and 6th centuries and was rediscovered in 2004.

You will have 2 hours of free time to explore the village of Salar and enjoy local cuisine.

We will return on our minibus to the starting point, arriving at 4 pm.
