Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll depart from Plaza de Mariana Pineda in Granada towards the Sierra Nevada National Park. During the tour, we will pass by emblematic locations such as the Roman gold mine of Cenes de la Vega, the Camino de los Neveros, the banks of the river Genil, and the gorge of Los Cahorros del río Monachil, arriving at the National Park, which spans the provinces of Granada and Almeria.

Upon arrival, we'll take a tour of Sierra Nevada by combining walking and driving in an offroading vehicle. We will observe the impressive elevations of the mountain range, including the Mulhacén and Veleta peaks, and have the chance to see and touch the snow at almost 2,500 meters (8,202 feet). A panoramic restaurant will offer a place to have a drink while enjoying the views.

Throughout the route, we will learn about the flora and fauna of this Biosphere Reserve known for its rich biodiversity. The landscapes of Sierra Nevada have also been featured in numerous TV shows, movies, and commercials. You will discover the myths and legends surrounding these mountains.

At the end of the tour, you'll have about 2 hours of free time in the ski resort of Sierra Nevada to rest, recharge, or enjoy the panoramic views. Finally, we will return to the meeting point in Granada, concluding this 7-hour tour.
