Úbeda & Baeza Excursion

Two Spanish Renaissance gems declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO await us on this excursion to Úbeda and Baeza from Granada. We'll see palaces and beautiful churches as we delve into the history of these cities.

Úbeda & Baeza Excursion

At 9 am, we'll meet at Plaza de las Descalzas where we'll board a bus and depart for Baeza. The journey from Granada will take about an hour and a half.

Upon arrival in Baeza, you'll have 4 hours of free time to explore and have lunch in this World Heritage City, known as the capital of the Renaissance in Andalusia. Notable sights include the Fountain of St Mary, Aliatares Tower, Cathedral, Jabalquinto Palace, Seminary of San Felipe Neri, and the old University of Baeza, along with a sculpture of poet Antonio Machado.

Next, we'll board the bus to Úbeda. Here, we will have a guided tour lasting an hour and a half through its historic center. We'll view the exteriors of important buildings, including the Holy Chapel of El Salvador, Basilica of Santa María de los Reales Alcázares, and the Vazquez de Molina Palace (Palace of the Chains). After the tour, you'll have an hour and a half of free time for lunch.

The excursion will conclude between 4 and 5 pm, returning to the starting point in Granada.
