Úbeda & Baeza Excursion

At 9 am, we'll meet at Plaza de las Descalzas to board a bus to Baeza. The trip from Granada will take about an hour and a half.

Upon arrival in Baeza, you will have 4 hours of free time to explore and have lunch in this World Heritage City, known as a capital of the Renaissance in Andalusia. Key sites include the Fountain of St Mary, the Aliatares Tower, the Cathedral, the Jabalquinto Palace, the Seminary of San Felipe Neri, and the old University of Baeza. A sculpture of the poet Antonio Machado is also located here, honoring his years in Baeza.

We will then return to the bus and head to Úbeda for a guided tour lasting an hour and a half through its historic center. This tour will cover significant buildings such as the Holy Chapel of El Salvador, the Basilica of Santa María de los Reales Alcázares, and the Vazquez de Molina Palace, also known as the Palace of the Chains. After the tour, you will have an hour and a half of free time for lunch in Úbeda.

We will conclude the excursion between 4 and 5 pm, returning to the starting point in Granada.
