A Journey through Time at the Grand Canyon

Have you ever wondered how the Grand Canyon has evolved over time in Colorado? What were the first inhabitants of this natural wonder like? How was it created? All of these questions will be answered during the IMAX experience at the Grand Canyon, a 37-minute film that will take you back in time to uncover the secrets of the USA's most famous canyon.

The Grand Canyon: Rivers of Time documentary will be shown on a huge screen and will explain the history, science, and mythology behind the Grand Canyon through spectacular aerial images with a timelapse of high-resolution photographs.

The film covers the Grand Canyon's geological formation, the first inhabitants, the historical discovery by Spanish explorers, their relationships with native Americans, and the adventures of explorers led by John Wesley Powell to navigate the Colorado River. You'll travel through time from your seat in the cinema!

Additionally, during this IMAX experience, you'll see the first photos taken in the Grand Canyon in 1872.
