Activity Details

During the reservation, select your preferred helicopter route over the Grand Canyon. You can choose between two options:

25-Minute Tour

The tour begins with a flight over the Kaibab National Forest before entering the Grand Canyon and flying through the Dragon Corridor.

As you soar over the Colorado River towards the northern edge of the Grand Canyon, marvel at the panoramic vistas of the Tower of Ra and Vishnu Schist. This flight includes views of some of the oldest rock formations known to man, located in the widest and deepest areas of the canyon.

45-Minute Tour

The experience kicks off by approaching the Kaibab National Forest, abundant in bull pines and American pines. Continuing on, we follow the path of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River, which provides stunning scenery along the way. During this segment, you will see the Painted Desert and the Desert View Watchtower.

Next, we visit the confluence of the Colorado and Little Colorado rivers, where the water's turquoise shades vividly contrast against the surrounding orange landscape. The tour culminates with a flight over the Dragon Corridor, noted for being the widest and deepest part of the Grand Canyon.

We will cross the Colorado River at its fastest flow point before returning to the departure site after a comprehensive 45-minute flight.

Helicopters

All tours utilize ECO-Star helicopters, crafted specifically for tourism. These helicopters ensure superior comfort and visibility, earning them the nickname 'the limousines of the sky.'

How Does It Work?

When you book, select which helicopter tour option you prefer, either the 25-minute or 45-minute experience. Each tour provides a unique perspective, allowing passengers to witness the Grand Canyon's stunning geography from the air. The service includes the helicopter ride, safety instructions, headset communication for commentary during the flight, and all necessary equipment.
