Visit the "Pompeii of Asia" on our day trip to Jerash and Aljoun Castle, including a swim in the Dead Sea.

Jerash, Aljoun Castle & Dead Sea Day Trip

We will meet at the entrance of the Sulaf Luxury Hotel at the designated time and depart Amman for Aljoun.

Upon arrival, we will explore the fortress built by Muslims in the 12th century to defend against crusaders. The Aljoun Castle offers panoramic views of the region.

Next, we will head to Jerash in northern Jordan, known as "the Pompeii of Asia" due to its Roman ruins. Key sites include the Triumphal Arch, Oval Forum, Colonnaded Street, Temple of Aphrodite, and the Theatre, which is notable for its acoustics.

There will be free time for a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we will proceed to the Dead Sea. You will have free time to swim in its highly saline waters and experience the healing properties of its mud.

The return journey to Amman will take about 9 to 9.5 hours. We look forward to seeing you again!
