On one of our private tours from Amman, you will explore notable sites in Jordan with a personal guide. Locations include Petra, Madaba, Mount Nebo, the Dead Sea, and Bethany.

Description

During the booking process, you can choose from the following tours, lasting between 3 and 6 hours. Each includes pickup at your hotel in Amman, return transfer, and an English-speaking guide. Details of each tour are as follows:

Madaba & Mount Nebo (3-4 hours)

Departing Amman, we will travel to Madaba, known for its mosaics. After about an hour's drive, we will explore the Orthodox Church of St. George and see the ancient mosaic map of the Middle East. Next, we proceed to Mount Nebo, where you can view the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, followed by some free time for lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Bethany & Dead Sea (3-4 hours)

We will head to Bethany, by the Jordan River, known as the site of Jesus' baptism. You will see various churches and archaeological remains of Byzantine structures. Afterward, we will visit the Dead Sea for some swimming time before returning to Amman, with an option for lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Desert Castles & Dead Sea (4-5 hours)

This tour includes visits to the Desert Castles, historic fortresses built from the 7th to 11th centuries, including Qasr al-Harranah, Qasr Amra, and Qasr al-Hallabat. After exploring the castles, you will have free time for lunch before heading to the Dead Sea for a dip.

Amman, Jerash, & Ajloun Castle (4-5 hours)

The tour starts with a panoramic view of Amman, featuring its archaeological sites. Next, we visit Jerash, known for its Roman ruins, then proceed for lunch at a restaurant before heading to Ajloun Castle.

Petra (4-6 hours)

We will travel south for about 4 hours to reach Petra, the capital of the Nabataeans. After arriving, we will ride through the gorges to the Treasury, visit the royal tombs, and learn about this historic "pink city." You will have free time for lunch before returning to Amman.
