Description

After being picked up from your hotel, the tour commences at the iconic Gateway of India. You will board a tourist boat to the Elephanta Caves, a recognized World Heritage Site and one of Mumbai's most impressive temples.

Following a journey of over an hour by boat, you will arrive at Elephanta Island, home to a complex of seven caves. Enjoy the tranquility of the island as you explore the primary temple dedicated to the Hindu sun god, Shiva.

The walls of the temple feature immense carvings that narrate various stories from Shiva's life, with the centerpiece being the impressive statue of a three-headed deity, symbolizing the god's roles as creator, protector, and destroyer.

The tour averages four hours, concluding with your drop-off back at the pickup point.
