Feel like a real explorer with this boat tour of the Sanguinaires islands. Be enchanted by the crystal blue waters and spectacular sunset as it casts the sky in deep red tones.

Islands Cruise

The Sanguinaires Islands were formed by a volcano and today are home to exotic species of plants and animals. The 4 Sanguinaires Islands offer natural beauty on the Corsican coast to explore, with opportunities to swim in pristine waters.

After gathering at the meeting point, we will climb aboard the boat to the archipelago. From the port of Porticcio, the first stop is the coast of Ajaccio. We will moor at the city’s waterfront to explore the maritime life of Napoleon Bonaparte’s birthplace.

We will visit the chapel of the Greeks, the Santa María Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery, and the citadel, immersing in the spirit of the Emperor through the historic center.

Before docking at Mezzumare (the largest island), enjoy views of the Parata Point hill peninsula and its tower. On the island, you will have free time to swim and explore older areas such as the ruins of Lazareto.

Experience unusual flower-lined walkways home to rare animals, providing an unforgettable sensory treat.

Around 5:30 pm we will return to Porticcio, concluding our maritime adventure.
