Islands Cruise

The Sanguinaires Islands were formed by a volcano and today are home to exotic species of plants and animals. The 4 Sanguinaires Islands offer a unique space of natural beauty on the Corsican coast, allowing exploration and swimming in pristine waters.

After gathering at the meeting point, we will board the boat to travel to the archipelago. From the port of Porticcio, our first stop will be the coast of Ajaccio. We will moor at the city’s waterfront to explore the maritime life of Napoleon Bonaparte’s birthplace.

We will visit the chapel of the Greeks, the Santa María Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery, and the citadel. You will experience the historical significance as you tour the streets of the historic center.

Before docking at Mezzumare (the largest island), enjoy views of the Parata Point hill peninsula and its tower. Once on the island, you will have free time to swim and discover the ruins of Lazareto.

For a unique experience, explore the flower-lined walkways that are home to rare animals. This will be a memorable treat for your senses.

Around 5:30 pm we will return to Porticcio, concluding our maritime adventure.
