Ajijic + Lake Chapala Tour

After picking you up from the meeting point in Guadalajara at 10:30 am, we'll begin our tour. Our first stop will be at the ranch of Vicente Fernandez, the home of the renowned Mexican singer and actor.

Next, we'll visit a tequila factory to learn about the artisanal production process of this traditional Mexican product. Participants will have the opportunity to try some shots of tequila and other house liquors.

At 2 pm, lunch is scheduled at a nearby restaurant, allowing for 1 hour of free time. Following lunch, we will enjoy a boat trip on Chapala Lake, where sightings of pelicans, ducks, and herons are common.

Upon returning to land, we'll explore Ajijic, recognized as one of Mexico's Magic Towns (Pueblos Mágicos). Participants will experience a stroll through the town, viewing colorful murals, art galleries, and the historic façade of St. Andrew Parish, which dates back to the 18th century.

The final stop will be Chapala, where we will visit significant locations including St. Francis Parish and the town square. This land was originally inhabited by Nahuatl tribes.

We will return to Guadalajara by bus, arriving back at the initial meeting point at 7 pm.
