Day Trip to Tequila

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Guadalajara and head to Tequila. After an hour's drive, we'll reach this town, the birthplace of tequila.

First, we'll explore the beautiful agave fields surrounding Tequila, learning about the cultivation and harvesting of this plant. Here, we will also see the Tequila volcano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its climate and vegetation.

Next, we will visit a tequila distillery, learning about the history of tequila and its production stages, from harvesting to aging in oak barrels. At the end, there will be a tequila tasting to sample authentic Mexican tequila.

Afterwards, we will explore the town of Tequila, where you'll have free time for lunch at local restaurants or markets, allowing you to enjoy the local gastronomy in this colonial town.

We will return to Guadalajara, arriving between 5 pm and 6 pm.

Visit to the Jose Cuervo Distillery

If you choose, you can visit the Jose Cuervo distillery, also known as La Rojeña, instead of the previously mentioned distillery. Selecting this option will reduce your free time in Tequila to accommodate this visit.
