Day Trip to Tequila

At the agreed time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Guadalajara and head to Tequila. After an hour's drive, we'll reach this town, the birthplace of Mexico's most famous drink.

First, we will explore the beautiful agave fields surrounding Tequila. We will learn about the cultivation and harvesting of this plant. From here, we'll also see the Tequila volcano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its diverse climate and vegetation.

Next, we will visit a tequila distillery, where we will learn about the history of tequila and the stages of its production, from harvesting agaves to aging in oak barrels. The tour will conclude with a tequila tasting.

Afterwards, we will visit the town of Tequila, where you will have free time for lunch in local restaurants or markets. You'll discover local gastronomy in this beautiful colonial town.

Finally, we will return to Guadalajara, arriving between 5 pm and 6 pm.
